History of the Church

The Bethel Church was formed on September 2nd, 1981, with 27 charter members. It was organized by the Green River Association of Free Will Baptist on June 6th, 1982. In the year 1985, the Bethel Church left the Green River Association of Free Will Baptist after a unified vote of all members present. In the year 1985, the Bethel Church Incorporated into an Independent Church, meaning it was no longer a part of the National or any Association. However, not to imply that we do not require or desire fellowship with other churches, we need and want the fellowship, prayers, help, and support of all true believers in our community and afar.

Salvation

Is by Grace through Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Ordinances

The Lord's Supper, to be taken as often as ye would. By all true believers, who should examine themselves. Baptism by Immersion, upon Professed Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Bible

We believe the Bible, the one we use and have (King James Bible) to be the WORDS of God, without proven error. Preserved, for this generation.
